Yes, Filipinos Were In The 31st

...Regiment, that is.

The military regimental band was comprised of Americans and Filipinos. Don't let the fact that these soldiers were BAND members diminish the honor they deserve. They fought and died along-side the other companies at Shanghai in 1932 and during World War II. Those Filipinos in the 31st Inf Reg Band who died during the Bataan Death March or at Cabanatuan deserve the same respect and acknowledgment as their fellow soldiers.
